About the studio
ESTUCAR INTERIORES (Estudio Carcabón) is an interior design studio based in Madrid, specialising in interior layout planning, furniture and lighting, with a technical approach and a clear working method.
Studio direction
The studio is founded and led by Carmen Martínez Riesgo-Carcabón, an interior designer with specialised training in interior design and extensive experience in managing and coordinating operational processes.
THE STUDIO
The studio was born from a way of understanding interior design as a discipline at the service of everyday life and the project, where decisions are made with criteria, order and an understanding of the full process: from analysing the space to execution.
I work from proportion, light and materiality, seeking solutions that are functional, calm and coherent with the existing architecture. It is not about imposing a style, but about making the space work better, whatever its scale or use.
CRITERIA AND METHOD
Each project is approached with a defined scope from the outset and a structured methodology that avoids improvisation:
- Analysis of the space, real use and specific needs.
- Clear definition of the layout and design criteria.
- Project development in phases, adjusting the level of intervention to each case.

With more than fifteen years of previous experience in management, organisation and processes, the studio applies that foundation to interior design: clear projects, understandable documentation and direct communication.
The aim is always the same: to bring clarity, reduce friction and help the project move forward.

ESTUCAR INTERIORES works both directly with private clients and in collaboration with architects, contractors, developers and real estate agencies, integrating as specialist support when the project requires it.
Collaborations are always set up with defined roles, clear scope and delimited responsibility.
